A year and a half ago I attended the swearing in ceremony at Latrun where I watched my son get his M-16 in one hand and a chumash in the other. I did no think I could be any prouder than I was that day. I was wrong. Yesterday, my son, along with his classmates formally concluded their tank commander training and once again, did so at a closing ceremony at Latrun. Unfortunately, this time I could not make the trip but it did not prevent me from walking around all day with my head held high and my chest all puffed out - in honor of Aaron. Mazol tov to all.
Signed - one proud father
